This is number __ in a series of 25. Each piece is created using a maple tree branch, painted with 20 layers of silver PMC paste. The spoon is embedded with a leaf texture and connected to the branch. During the firing process, the branch burns away, turns to ash, and the metal fuses together. Each spoon is mounted in a 9" x 9" black shadow box.
